Roughs done in digital. Time to start going traditional!
It’s that TYPE of post!
hahah.. get it? I know I’m so punny.. It’s been that time of year with graduations and holidays. Here’s 2 cards that I made for my friends and family.
A spirit of adventure!
Hope everyones break is going well so far. Yep so I haven’t updated my blog in a while because I’ve been busy with a lot of various things, such as co-op, catching up with friends, basketball and last minute guitar practices hahaha. Well I’ve started a co-op with the illustrator Dave Murray and it’s been a nice exposure of what it’s like to work as a freelance illustrator. To post up some work again, here’s some work that I’ve done for co-op.
That’s all for now. Time for me to start on a personal piece that’s been on my mind today.
So, I’m trying out a 30 day drawing challenge.
Here’s day 1 with a little portrait of myself :)
Haven’t updated in a while! Here’s a motion graphics animation that I did a while back. It was inspired by Sarah Kay’s spoken word poem, If I Should Have a Daughter. Check it out!
My childhood favourites.
Max Lucado’s genuine writing paired with the wonderful illustrations by Sergio Martines have always left a good memory in my mind. It gives children a really good message of love and acceptance.
This was one of my inspirations to become an illustrator!
I call this brain cocktail. Chaos is how it would describe this piece. This was done on a whim through the thoughts that I had at that given moment.
Fashionnnn…
Who wants summer?
I am really inspired by Junichi Nakaharu lately and the fashion works that he does so this is what I did with that creative inspiration. Enjoying playing with line work and bold colour, which is a nice breath of fresh air from painting class and high realism.
